I'm not sure exactly how it should be organised but like should be put with like, as with any organisation process, and what is most useful should go at the top. The Knowledge Base, Forums and Newsletter should definitely go up near the top. So my suggestion, without removing anything from the list (although things might very well need to be removed to someplace else) is something like this:
My Pathway
My Account
Meet and Greet
The Circle Forums
Knowledge Base
Newsletter
Talking Stick
Druid Sound
Druid Vision
Druid Galleries
Druidic Festivals
Druidic Events
Druidic Exchange
Feedback
Request Membership

If you wanted to reduce the amount of items, you could put some under headings like "Events and Festivals" for Druidic Events, Druidic Festivals, etc ... or not sure how else but is worth considering.
It might even be an idea to have a "Member" section which contains My Pathway, Meet and Greet and the Forums, accessible perhaps from the top bar instead of just the side bar .... although not sure how ungainly that might be. "Members' Area" ... difficult though without sounding exclusive.
I think that if you have to click on something more than 3/4 times to reach it, on a website, then the website needs re-designing or something. Often those very 'deep' pages will never see the light of day because quite frankly most people don't go hunting.
There are certainly plenty of possibilities.
While we're on the subject of making the site look better/function better (like the menu) I also would like to add that we REALLY need a different header. I have had four different people privately make comments on this, one who is a non-member, and I do think we could have something more aesthetic, or decorative. I know this is not the DD team's forte, but I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would be able to help solve this dilemma. I would certainly be willing to give my opinion or suggestions.
Well, here's a specific problem I just had. I was looking for my lecture "Entering Faerie" and couldn't find it. I searched for "Entering Faerie" and nothing came up. I finally found it by searching for my name, but then I see it is filed under "Lectures" yet I can't figure out where "Lectures" is located. Breadcrumbs would help one to see the hierarchy better. Also, a site map is always welcome. But the search function isn't working properly if my talk didn't come up under a search for "Faerie." Does it only search the subsection one is in at the time, not the whole site?
So, where are lectures and talks?

OK. Two seconds later I did find it under "Talking Stick". I swear I looked there!
