Greetings All,

Below the divider is a standard-issue request for input I've been spreading about on the Internet in the last several weeks. If you find it intriguing, I hope you'll contact me (on or off-list) to provide input and/or distribute the notice to friends. I welcome your feedback.

I have been working over the last few months to create a space where Pagans who serve in the military can write about their experiences for a wider audience. I'm hoping to collect essays written by Pagan soldiers and edit them into an anthology that might appeal to a publisher like Weiser or Llewellyn. This would be a traditional book publication, I would edit it, and contributors would be paid for their work once the manuscript sold.

I am not a soldier or veteran (my husband is a Navy vet.), but I do believe a project such as this one might be a useful tool for military/civilian dialogue and Pagan/non-Pagan dialogue, because it would put the words in the hands of the people who have the most to say about the matter, the soldiers themselves.

To date, interest in the project has been somewhat spotty, but this is likely because I know few Pagan soldiers and have been trying to work out several kinks in the project before contacting more people. I am here to ask whether or not, in your opinion, a project such as this one would be useful and/or helpful. You can read more about it here:

It is my intention to proceed only if the work can do some good for contributors and readers, and I would welcome any feedback, positive or negative, that you might care to offer. I really mean this. If you have the time, I'd love you to read the web site and tell me what you think.

I should add here (since this is an international list) that I am interested in the voices of all Pagan-identified soldiers, not just Americans, and all Pagan-identified soldiers are welcome to contribute, regardless of their political or national affiliations and/or opinions.

Thank you very much for your time.
