As a new member of Druidic Dawn and going over web pages it seem like this Wonder Site is losing steam?

I feel it realy has a lot to over compaired to the Druid Face Book sites I am in. Was just curious to hear from more of DD's longer term members on this.  Moon Rising TDK

I'm not sure to count myself among the longer-term members of the site, but would like to mention that I would hate to see this site "mainstreamed"-I for one get overwhelmed by clutter and activity on websites ( and in life) a while I would love to see more activity here on Druidic Dawn, if it becomes "just another Facebook" I'll be one of the first to stay a slower, quieter member.

I love the simplicity of the current design.

Re: Is D.D. slowing down ?

I can understand haveing been part of many groups from the 60s in Metapsychical world. I really do like the sight have have been sharing it on the Pagan / Wicca / Druid / Pagus / Heathen and other Magick Face Book Groups I am in. Hope it is getting some new members to D.D. I also write Pagus related Poems and blog on Pagus / Druid related issues and will share them here also a little at a time. Please fell free to use anything (Poems Blog) in http://soulpears.blogspot.com or My Techno-Druid blog     http://thedruidking.blogspot.com  in Aontacht or on D.D. I have sent in one submission to Aontacht, but I know as a zine publisher in the past that its always nice to have a source of fillins where needed.  Moon Rising and I for one will try and help out where ever I can. Hi Druidking,

Thanks for your interest in the site. We are in the process of creating a makeover. Firstly because Druidic Dawn is a social enterprise our primary objective is to serve our community. And things means create a greater sense of belonging, which comes from engagement.

As the site has grown over the years with core members the management team has not kept pace...for a variety of reasons. Therefore in the near term we will be launching a campaign to recruit and retain volunteers to help with all manner of behind the scenes stuff that makes druidic dawn what it is. For example Druidic dawn has various different facets that need looking after, there are member requests, Aontacht the quarterly magazine, volunteers that need managing, not to mention the techie web site stuff. Please bear with us and hopefully we can build on some of the great work already happening to deliver a platform fir for a druid.

In the recent editions of the Aontacht magazine which report of a restructuring process presently occurring. This might give the impression the front end is perhaps moving at a slower pace.
